Hi!  Welcome to the Balance Health & Nutrition Blog!!

Thank you for checking out my website.  I’m excited share my knowledge of functional nutrition with you.  I’ve been a nurse for over 16 years and am a Certified Functional Medicine and Nutrition Health Coach. I have a Master’s of Science in Nutrition and I specialize in coaching men and women on how to permanently adopt healthy eating patterns, address weight loss resistance, heal their gut and their bodies, and feel great again.

I will be using my education and personal experiences to teach you how to use nutrition to help you deal with common concerns such as weight loss resistance, fatigue, blood sugar swings, digestion, and mood swings.

In addition to writing about various nutrition topics, I also blog about the importance of sleep, stress management, and how various behaviors that we regularly engage in impact our weight and our health including my two of my favorite topics..…SUGAR and FAT!! I feel strongly that diet plays a huge role in many of the chronic health problems that exist today and I want to teach you how changing your eating patterns can help prevent or correct many of these problems. I will share with you how I used nutrition, changing my sleep patterns, and managing my stress to help heal my body (and mind).
